HOW PICKING ORDER IS HANDLED In most cases picks are conducted
exclusively according to date of deposit received. Picks are not specific to color, gender, or litter. On
our deposit forms we do ask you to note these preferences, but this is for
ours and your own reference only. When it is your turn to pick you may choose
from all available pups from all litters available at the time. NOTE: Breeder always reserves the right to
determine a certain choice is unavailable if a specific reason exists unique
to a given situation. Otherwise: WHEN THERE IS A BREEDER'S PICK: Picks will not be made until the pups are
at least 8 weeks old in order to allow the pups to reach the age when they
can be properly screened for health. There are certain things that a breeder
must consider when picking a pup that a pet owner does not have to worry
about, both regarding conformation and health, for example: When choosing a
pup for show certain attributes may be desired by a breeder that wouldn't
matter to a pet owner, and when it comes to health, there are certain
conditions which would be considered compromising to a specific pup or to
it's litters, the result being a risk to a breeder but not to a pet owner,
who is not going to be reproducing the breed. WHEN THERE IS NOT A BREEDER'S PICK: Pick's can be made once the pups are born
in order of deposits received whenever the 1st depositor feels ready. Picks
can be determined via photos, videos, and email descriptions, or in person at
our home. NOTE: Health screens are still conducted at
8 weeks and if any concerns come up for your pup they will be fully disclosed
to you. |
