I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Who knew the lessons of true friendship could be taught right on the cushions of my very own couch?

This is what I’ve learned:

·          Even when you don’t think so, you can always fit one more.

 

·          Play and have fun.

 

·          Don't bite people.

 

·          If you make a mess, it’s okay, it can always get cleaned up.

 

·          Farts happen.

 

·          And so does $#!* (but everyone still sticks together through it even when it’s awful bad).

 

·          Relax and enjoy the warmth of each other.

 

·          It takes two to tug-o-war.

 

·          Respect boundaries.

 

·          Never be afraid to show affection.

 

·          Whenever you can, eat ice cream together.

 

·          In the end, no one really cares how you look, it’s how you love.

 

If you take the list of rules above and apply them to human terms you really can get a clear picture of what true friendship is. Think how much better the world would be if we humans all just followed these simple rules.

I never expected, when I started raising and showing Cavaliers, that it would lead me to such wonderful friends. Two women in particular (You know who you are!) who I can really count on to support me through the tough, heartbreaking times and to celebrate with me the joys and triumphs, both in and out of the ring.

I like to think of us as the “The Three Musketeers”                         Because with us it truly is…

 “All for one, and one for all!”
